Erasmus+ project Our Earth, Our Voice (2024-1-HR01-KA210-YOU-000250951), led by the Center for the Development of Personal Competencies and Human Rights Protection (CROK) in partnership with organizations from Italy (Studio Legale Crastolla associazione professionale), Greece (Creative thinking development), and Romania (Asociatia empower plus).
The booklet brings together knowledge, methods, and inspiring examples for educating young people about sustainability and green skills. It is primarily intended for youth workers, educators, and organizations that wish to encourage young people to take an active role in environmental protection and ecological awareness.
The publication includes four main chapters:
- Introduction to Environmental Sustainability – fundamental concepts, climate change, and the importance of sustainable development
- Engaging Young People in Environmental Activities – principles of participation, creative methods, and examples of good practice
- Green Skills and Resources – developing competencies, leadership, and ecological literacy among youth
- Case Studies and Success Stories – concrete examples from practice, including experiences from the WWF Reserve Le Cesine in Italy
The booklet promotes an approach in which young people are active agents of change, and youth work becomes a space for experiential learning, creativity, and collective action. Through practical tools, workshops, digital resources, and inspiring campaigns, “Green Generation” encourages the creation of a responsible, conscious, and engaged generation that recognizes its role in protecting the planet.
